NEXT DATE: AUTUMN 2022
During this workshop you will learn how to design and carve your own mini lino block stamps and print them to create a wrapping paper sheet design or a selection of greetings cards. Please select which option you would like to print on when booking. There may be time for you to do a little bit of both but time does go quickly and all depends on your lino block design and carving speed but please do select an option at booking as this helps me prepare the resources.
I will show you lino stamp examples and inspiration to help you create your stamps. Taking inspiration from botanical and floral designs and from simple lines and shapes.
All materials and resources will be supplied and you will be able print your own sheet of wrapping paper during the workshop (maybe more depending on your individual printing speed) or experiment with printing your own card designs on lovely blank recycled fleck greeting cards ( see image of blank card)
At the end of the workshop you will be able to take home your printed gift wrap or cards.
This is a great workshop for someone who has done lino printing before and wants to experiment with it again or who is completely new to printmaking and wants to get creative with a new process. A fun creative print workshop run by me and held at Tiverton's Old Heathcoat school community centre.
Please book via this listing and I will be in touch via email with more information before the workshop.
Suitable for adults, age 18+ as sharp lino cutters will be used during the workshop.
