Day: Sunday 14th June
Location: Tonedale Mill, Wellington.
Time: 1.30 - 4pm.
During this evening workshop you will learn how to design and carve your own lino block and print it onto paper using a printing press.
I will show you examples of lino block carvings and there will be a range of botanical and floral inspiration to help you come up with your block design to then carve and print, (please do feel free to bring along your own image inspiration if you would like, but I do supply templates you can trace).
This is a great workshop for someone who has done lino printing before and wants to experiment with it again or who is completely new to printmaking and wants to get creative with a new process.
All materials and resources will be supplied and there will be a range of coloured inks available at this workshop to try out.
At the end of the workshop you will be able to take home your printed art work and your carved block.
This workshop is for adults (18+) as sharp lino cutters will be used during the workshop.
